OVERVIEW

In November 2018, Oxenfree had the opportunity to create a cinematic testimonial video for The Breather, a product from PN Medical. Over the weeks of Pre-Production, we learned about COPD and other medical causes that would benefit from using The Breather to better understand its meaning to our subjects, Dianne & Virgil.

PROBLEM

Oxenfree worked with PN Medical to find the right patient for the testimony video they were looking for. There were three avenues they were looking to appeal to medical patients, children with asthma & their parents, and athletic users. This video was to solve their need for a medical patient testimonial video.

SOLUTION

We start off by introducing the patient, Virgil, and the issue that caused him to start using The Breather. Once we introduce COPD as the inciting factor, we continue to talk about how breathing is important & how not being able to breathe well is hindering. We introduce Dianne, Virgil's wife, she expresses the concern she had for him and how upon the suggestion of his Doctor and research online that they found The Breather. The video explains how The Breather has changed Virgil's life.

RESULT

The result was a moving testimonial that struck the heart and core of why The Breather is a key tool for COPD patients. It explored other products and methods of strengthening a person's lungs that are inferior to The Breather. This video satisfied PN Medical's need for a medical patient's testimony, while also providing them with a riveting video to share beyond that target market.
