OVERVIEW

In late September 2017, Oxenfree had the opportunity to create a cinematic video for Visit Florida as their social media team headed to the Florida Keys. We headed down to the Keys the first week of October to create this highlight video of the most memorable places in the Florida Keys.

PROBLEM

In September of 2017, most of Florida was hit by Hurricane Irma. The Florida Keys were hit hard by the storm. Many businesses and homes had water damage, if not destroyed. However, the spirit of the Keys and the people who lived there was stronger than ever. About 3 weeks after the storm, Oxenfree was contacted to film a highlight reel of everyone's favorite places in the Keys. Without hesitation, we said yes and made our way down to the Florida Keys for this shoot.

SOLUTION

We provided production services, executed in a week time frame, and handled all producing and director responsibilities that took place over the week of filming across multiple locations in the Keys. After wrapping production, we edited and scored the 90-second spot. The result was a fully developed project consisting of pre-production, production, and post-production. 

RESULT

The result was a highlight video that struck the heart of many people longing to visit the Florida Keys. The video premiered on Visit Florida's Facebook page on October 30th, 2017 and was a hit. Since it was posted the video has been liked more than 500 times, share more than 1,400 times, and viewed over 1 MILLION times and growing! This makes it one of the most popular videos on Visit Florida's profile.
