Now Streaming: On The Job

Our latest Very Local original series, On The Job, is now available for streaming on The Very Local app!

This 6-episode guide show hosted by Orlando expert Brendan O’Connor highlights the people who work behind the scenes at some of Orlando’s most unique experiences. In each episode, Brendan spends a day in their shoes, rolling up his sleeves to help get the job done.

ABOUT ON THE JOB

On The Job celebrates the people behind the events, attractions, and businesses that make Orlando a truly unique place to call home.

The show is hosted by Brendan O’Connor, Editor-In-Chief of Bungalower, Co-Host of the Bungalower and The Bus podcast, Food Columnist for Orlando Magazine, Emmy-nominated Host of Very Local’s Restaurants on the Radar series, and Co-Author of "100 Things to Do in Orlando Before You Die."

In each episode of On The Job, Brendan travels all over Central Florida to meet the people behind Orlando’s one-of-a-kind experiences, including LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Discovery Cove, Florida Coral Rescue Center, Kia Center, and more.

Whether it’s helping milk venomous snakes, converting a basketball court into an ice hockey rink, or conducting a 300-person symphony orchestra, Brendan dives into each role, receiving on-the-job training to learn about and help complete all the tasks that go into each experience.
